VICTORIA — Kamloops MLAs Peter Milobar and Ward Stamer have been handed significant roles in B.C. Conservative Leader John Rustad’s shadow cabinet.

Rustad named his critics for the upcoming legislative session Wednesday (Nov. 20), slotting Milobar in as the critic to NDP Finance Minister Brenda Bailey. Milobar previously served in the same role for BC United prior to the October election.

Stamer, the newly-elected Kamloops-North Thompson MLA, will serve as the party’s critic watching the forests ministry headed by Ravi Parmar.

Elsewhere, Fraser-Nicola MLA Tony Luck was named critic for municipal affairs and local government. On the government side, those responsibilities are split between Ravi Kahlon (municipal affairs) and Brittny Anderson (local governments).
