KAMLOOPS — After getting her start at the university level, Rebecca Kuresh was an athletic therapist for five years in the Alberta Junior Hockey League before the Kamloops Blazers hired her in the summer of 2023.

Kuresh has big shoes to fill in Kamloops, taking over from former trainer and equipment manager Colin (Toledo) Robinson.

And, she’s helping to blaze a trail for women in her profession, now one of three female athletic therapists in the WHL.
