Merritt emergency department closed Monday night

MERRITT, B.C. — The emergency room at Nicola Valley Hospital in Merritt will be closed overnight Monday (Nov. 18).

Interior Health says the shutdown will begin at 7:00 p.m. Monday and last until 8:00 a.m. Tuesday.

The health authority does not provide a reason for the closure.

Those in need of emergency medical care during the closure are urged to call 9-1-1 or attend Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops.
