Traffic snarled in north Kamloops due to multiple incidents

KAMLOOPS — Details are slim, but there is a major police presence on the North Shore of Kamloops Friday evening, Nov. 15.

Callers to the CFJC Today newsroom say Parkcrest Avenue is closed to traffic between Southill and Holt streets, with drivers heading to or from Brocklehurst being diverted.

It’s unclear what the nature of the incident is, but witnesses also report seeing ambulances and fire trucks in that part of north Kamloops.

A crash on Fortune Drive near the intersection with Sydney Avenue is also causing traffic tie-ups on the evening commute home.
