Children, high school students bring walls to life with mural at Hamlets at Westsyde seniors community

KAMLOOPS — The Hamlets at Westsyde is a living community dedicated to providing quality care and experiences for seniors, according to a Hamlets media release.
Hamlets shares a building with Bumble and Bean Daycare and is a short walk from Westsyde Secondary School.
With children, high school students and seniors in close proximity, Hamlets at Westsyde general manager Ron Villanueva saw an opportunity to bring the building’s walls to life with an inter-generational mural that can offer comfort to residents, some of whom live with dementia.
