Blazers’ win streak stopped at 4, edged 3-1 by Royals Monday

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers saw their winning streak come to an end at four games Monday (Nov. 11), losing 3-1 to the visiting Victoria Royals at Sandman Centre.
Victoria got goals from Keaton Verhoeff, Nolan Stewart and Cole Reschny. Jordan Keller replied for Kamloops. Dylan Ernst made 39 saves in the loss while Jayden Kraus made 25 stops for the Royals.
Kamloops (10-9-1-0) was playing its fifth game in seven days.
The Blazers now hit the road for three games in a row, beginning Friday (Nov. 15) in Langley against the Vancouver Giants. Their next home game is set for Nov. 23 against Everett.
