Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc members to elect new Chief and Council Saturday

It’s election day for Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc members as they’ll be picking their Chief and Council for the next three years.

Kukpi7 Rosanne Casimir is eyeing her third consecutive mandate as Chief, going up against current Band Councillor Joshua Gottfriedson.

There are also 12 people running for the seven councillor seats that need to be filled, with four incumbents seeking re-election.

Polls will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moccasin Square Garden.
