DASHCAM VIDEO: Semi driver in Valleyview takes wild median ride to avoid U-turning pickup

KAMLOOPS — A video posted to social media Tuesday (Nov. 5) shows a truck driver’s perspective of a harrowing highway encounter in Valleyview.

The video, posted to the Facebook page ‘Skilled Truckers Canada’, shows dashcam footage from a heavy truck travelling westbound on the Trans Canada Highway. According to the post, the video was taken at 8:32 p.m. on Monday.

The truck is driving along in the passing lane between Vicars Road and Comazzetto Road when the driver of a pickup truck pulls out in front of the heavy truck attempting to perform a U-turn from the eastbound lane into the westbound lane.
