Ziemmer nets three goals, Cougars double hometown Blazers

KAMLOOPS — Koehn Ziemmer notched a hat-trick to pace the Prince George Cougars to a 6-3 victory over the Kamloops Blazers in WHL action on Friday (Nov. 1) at Sandman Centre.

Kayden Lemire, Terik Parascak and Borya Valis also registered goals for the Cats, with Joshua Ravensbergen stopping 27 shots to pick up the win between the pipes.

Emmitt Finnie, Tommy Lafreniere and Oren Shtrom scored for the Blazers in support of goaltender Dylan Ernst, who allowed five goals on 24 shots.

B.C. Division-leading Prince George improved to 9-4-2-2 and sits second in Western Conference standings.
