KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are asking trick-or-treaters to check their Halloween haul after one member of the public reported finding a razor blade in her candy.
The complainant reported her daughter, who had been trick-or-treating in the Brocklehurst area on Halloween night, found a candy in her bag on Friday (Nov. 1) that had been partially opened and a small razor blade was observed protruding from the candy.
The child told her mother immediately and the mother notified the police.
It is unknown which residence the candy originated from and there have been no other reports.
