Thousands of dollars of archery equipment stolen from Kamloops Bowbenders
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops residents are asked to be on the lookout for thousands of dollars in stolen archery equipment.
In a post to social media, the Kamloops Bowbenders – the archers of the Kamloops Target Sports Association – say a police file is open after surveillance video captured images of two theft suspects from their archery range at the end of Hillside Drive.
The Bowbenders say the theft took place from 5:55 a.m. to 7:20 a.m. on Tuesday (Oct. 29) when the suspects spent nearly one-and-a-half hours emptying one of their seacans of thousands of dollars of archery equipment. The group says the equipment is used to teach youth and adult beginners.
