Kamloops RCMP officer charged with mischief and uttering threats: BC Prosecution Service

KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops RCMP officer has been charged with one count each of mischief and uttering threats.
In a brief news release issued Friday (Oct. 25), the BC Prosecution Service (BCPS) announced the charges were approved against Cst. Adrian Griffith in relation to an incident that occurred in Kamloops on March 20, 2024. The prosecutors did not specify what transpired in the incident mentioned.
“The charge was approved by an experienced Crown Counsel with no prior or current connection with the officer,” BCPS states.
Griffith’s first appearance at Kamloops Law Courts is set for November 21, 2024.
