Three Blazers crack NHL Central Scouting preliminary players to watch list for 2024-25
KAMLOOPS — Three Kamloops Blazers are on the National Hockey League’s (NHL) Central Scouting preliminary players to watch list.
Fresh off his six-point night, Nathan Behm was given a ‘B’ grade as a potential second- or third-round pick in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft. It’s the highest rating a member of the 2024-25 Blazers received.
The 17-year-old forward has had a hot start to the 2024-25 Western Hockey League (WHL) season, scoring 11 goals and 18 points in 11 games.
Elsewhere, a Blazer who has yet to play a WHL game was mentioned. Vit Zahejsky was given a ‘C’ grade as a potential fourth- or fifth-round pick in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft. The 17-year-old forward was the second overall pick in the 2024 CHL Import Draft but has been out of action recovering from a broken ankle.
