Search continues to find occupants of Coquitlam home washed away in mudslide: RCMP
COQUITLAM – Police say first responders are still searching for the residents of a home that was washed away in Coquitlam’s northeast end.
Coquitlam RCMP say the mudslide occurred around noon on Saturday in an area near Quarry Road, between Calgary Drive and MacIntyre Road.
Spokesperson Corp. Alexa Hodgins says that after liaising with family members, the owner of the affected home is still unaccounted for as of Sunday afternoon.
