Storm double Thunder Cats in Creston

Aaron Zulinick had a goal and an assist for the Kamloops Storm in a 6-3 win over the hometown Creston Valley Thunder Cats in Kootenay International Junior Hockey League play on Friday.
Noah Paulsen, Carson Reagan, Lochlan Stefanishyn, Teghan Mullin and Noah MacPherson also scored for the Storm, with Brenner Fyfe making 17 saves to pick up the win between the pipes.
Dryden Harding, Taylor Schmideder and Sanjay Chalupiak scored for the Thunder Cats in support of Jacob Burnside, who stopped 37 shots in a losing effort.
Kamloops improved to six wins and five losses this season ahead of its matchup on Saturday (Oct. 19) against the Ghostriders (3-2-0-1) in Fernie.
