Holland buries twice, Storm sink River Rush; Grizzlies in town Saturday

KAMLOOPS — Keenan Holland struck twice for the Kamloops Storm in a 5-1 victory over the Quesnel River Rush in Kootenay International Junior Hockey League action on Friday (Oct. 4) on McArthur Island.
Braycen Dube, Ryan Larsen and Brandon Burns also scored for Kamloops, with goaltender Brenner Fyfe making 27 saves to pick up the win between the pipes.
Max Kinnee lit the lamp for the River Rush, whose goaltender, Josh Hager, made 44 saves in a losing effort.
The Storm (3-2-0-0) will host the Revelstoke Grizzlies (3-1-0-0) on Saturday (Oct. 5), a 7 p.m. start at McArthur Island Sport and Event Centre.
