Tk’emlúps Rural RCMP frontline officers were called at 7 a.m. on Tuesday to an address on the 3000-block of Rose Hill Road for a report of an assault in progress, according to an RCMP press release.

While on scene, officers confirmed the victim had left the residence and was safe, but the suspect may have access to weapons, including firearms.
