Downtown street to remain closed longer than expected due to work related to City Gardens development

KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops posted on social media on Tuesday (Oct. 1) to note the second delay to the reopening of a stretch of downtown road.

Due to work related to the City Gardens development project, the closure of Fourth Avenue from Battle Street to Columbia Street has been extended to Oct. 31.

The original timeline for the closure was July 29 to Aug. 31.

On Aug. 30, the city posted on social media to note the extension of the closure to Sept. 30.
