Blazers’ Behm named WHL player of the week

KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops Blazer is the Western Hockey League’s (WHL) player of the week.
On Monday (Sept. 30), the WHL announced forward Nathan Behm earned the honours after scoring four goals and two assists in two games. The 2007-born forward scored a hat trick and an assist in his first game of the season in a 4-3 win over the Seattle Thunderbirds on Friday.
The Blazers selected Behm with the 13th overall pick in the WHL Prospects Draft. He will be eligible for the 2025 NHL Entry Draft.
The Blazers begin a stretch of five games on the road Friday (Oct. 4), when they visit the Vancouver Giants in Langley. The Blazers’ next home game is Tuesday, Oct. 15 against the Prince Albert Raiders.
