Annual BrewLoops event at Mac Island gets people hopping
KAMLOOPS – BrewLoops, Kamloops annual beer festival, took place Saturday night (Sept. 28) at the McArthur Island disc golf course.
More than 26 different B.C. beers, multiple tap bars, 15 breweries and cideries were all in attendance, including four from Kamloops. The event serves as an important way for local brewers to get their products out in the community where thousands walk by throughout the evening.
“We’re just excited to be part of BrewLoops,” said Nick Olsoff of Red Collar Brewing. “It’s such a fantastic event for all the breweries in and around the Okanagan and Interior. We’re pouring a bunch of beers and some cocktails. We distill gin, so we started doing, a couple of cocktails. We’ve got cocktails on tap, we got beers on tap, and we’ve got a canned beer with a collaboration with Tourism Kamloops.”
