KAMLOOPS — Ainsley Grether of Kamloops is alone atop the TRU WolfPack women’s soccer Canada West goal scoring list.

She registered her 10th career goal in a 1-0 victory over the UNBC Timberwolves of Prince George on Saturday (Sept. 28) at Hillside Stadium.

(Grether was featured earlier this week in a CFJC Today Tattle of Hastings episode)

TRU improved to 3-5-1 and Grether slid past Marisa Mendonca and Chantal Gammie, each of whom tallied nine goals during their respective tenures with the WolfPack.

Cassanda De Amaral made three saves to keep a clean sheet for the Pack, who will play two road games next weekend on the Lower Mainland — against the Fraser Valley Cascades (2-5) of Abbotsford and the Trinity Western Spartans (4-1-2) of Langley.

The WolfPack are fifth in Pacific Division standings. The top four teams will advance to the playoffs.
