Kamloops election forums to be held online only October 1

KAMLOOPS — CFJC is partnering with Radio NL, Castanet, the city’s business associations and the chamber of commerce to present a pair of candidates forums ahead of the upcoming provincial election.

The forums are set for Tuesday, October 1, with the Kamloops-North Thompson at 5:00 p.m. and Kamloops Centre immediately following at 6:30 p.m.

The events will be held online only and live-streamed on CFJC Today. Members of the public will be able to participate using the interactive Slido platform.

Conservative Ward Stamer and Maddi Genn of the NDP have put their names forward in Kamloops-North Thompson. Kamloops Centre will have candidates Peter Milobar of the Conservatives, Kamal Grewal of the NDP and Randy Sunderman of the Green Party.
