Olympians, Paralympians of Kamloops to be honoured during public ceremony Saturday

Kamloops’ Olympic and Paralympic heroes will be honoured during a ceremony on Saturday (Sept. 21) at the Tournament Capital Centre.

Paris 2024 throws gold medallists Greg Stewart and Ethan Katzberg and Team Canada men’s basketball captain Kelly Olynyk will be recognized, along with coaches Catharine Pendrel, Patrick Waters and Dylan Armstrong.

Athletes will be made available to sign autographs.

The event — which is free to the public — will get underway at 3 p.m. on the lower field across from Hillside Stadium.
