Fyfe posts shutout for Storm in victory over Heat; rematch Saturday in Kamloops

CHASE, B.C. — The Kamloops Storm and Chase Heat opened their Kootenay International Junior Hockey League campaigns on Friday (Sept. 20), with the latter falling 4-0 in their home opener.

Keenan Holland struck twice for the Storm and David Ander and Dylan Konschuh added singles in support of goaltender Brenner Fyfe, who recorded a 43-save shutout.

Ben Turvey turned aside 35 shots for the Heat in a losing effort.

The rematch will take place Saturday (Sept. 21), a 7 p.m. start at McArthur Island Sport and Event Centre.
