Storm hosting Centennials, aiming for undefeated pre-season

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Storm can post a perfect pre-season record with a home win on Saturday (Sept. 14) at McArthur Island Sport and Event Centre.

Kamloops (4-0) will play host to the Merritt Centennials (3-2), a 7 p.m. start in the North Shore barn.

The Storm doubled the visiting Princeton Posse 6-3 on Friday (Sept. 13) to improve to 4-0 in pre-season Kootenay International Junior Hockey League standings.

Teghan Mullin scored twice for the Storrm, with Braycen Dube, Luca D’Amore, Aaron Zulinick and Nikolas Dimopoulos adding singles.

Brenner Fyfe stopped 29 shots to pick up the victory between the pipes.
