WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — A Williams Lake city councillor and member of the Lower Nicola Indian Band will carry the BC New Democratic Party (NDP) in the Cariboo-Chilcotin riding.

In a news release, the BC NDP say Michael Moses has spent more than 30 years in the Cariboo-Chilcotin area. He’s also a graduate of Simon Fraser University’s Beedie School of Business in digital innovation and leadership.

The NDP states Moses knows affordability, health care and housing are big issues in Cariboo-Chilcotin.

The B.C. general election will be held on Oct. 19, 2024.
