Kamloops RCMP arrest woman after reported neck stabbing

KAMLOOPS — A woman was arrested and later released with conditions after a report of a person who stated they had been stabbed in the neck over the weekend.

Officers from Kamloops RCMP and Tk’emlups Rural RCMP responded to Salish Road at around 6:45 p.m. Friday (Sept. 6) and found a woman with what appeared to be minor injuries. She was sent to hospital for care and assessment.

In a news release issued Wednesday (Sept. 11), police say they found a suspect shortly after near Halston Bridge and arrested her.

Anyone who witnessed the reported stabbing or has information related to it is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP.
