ORIGINAL: KAMLOOPS — Staff Sgt. Janelle Shoihet of the Kamloops RCMP is asking for the public’s help to locate three pit bulls that appear to have killed a 12-year-old collie on Sunday (Sept. 8) morning on the North Shore.
Shoihet said the collie was attacked in its owner’s backyard at about 6:15 a.m. in the 600-block of Richmond Avenue and the pit bulls appear to be on the loose.
She noted it appears the three pit bulls — two dark brown in colour and one white, with brown spots – jumped a fence into the backyard and killed the collie before hopping back over the fence and making way for Schubert Drive.
