Blazers sign goaltender Kabrud of Saskatoon

KAMLOOPS — Goaltender Madex Kabrud of Saskatoon on Friday (Sept. 6) signed a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement with the Kamloops Blazers.
Kabrud, 16, posted a record of 20-2-1-0 with the Under-18 Saskatoon Blazers last season, along with a 2.08 goals-against average and .909 save percentage.
The 5-foot-11, 195-pound goaltender saw WHL pre-season action on Friday (Sept. 6), allowing two goals on 21 shots in 29 minutes and eight seconds of action against the visiting Kelowna Rockets.
