ER CLOSURES

Nicola Valley Hospital ER closed until Monday morning

MERRITT — Merritt residents will once again be without emergency services at the Nicola Valley Hospital as the ER will be closed from 7:00am Sunday to 8:00am Monday September 2.

Interior Health lists the reason for the closure as limited physician availability.

The closure comes amid numerous emergency rooms challenges across the region. Service was also halted on Saturday in 100 Mile House and Williams Lake, both of those hospitals are scheduled to reopen Sunday morning.

Merritt residents are advised to access care in Kamloops at Royal Inland Hospital.
