Emergency department in 100 Mile House temporarily closed for second time in as many days
100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — For the second time in as many days, the emergency department in 100 Mile House will be temporarily closed.
In a news release, Interior Health states the emergency department at 100 Mile District General Hospital is unavailabe from 7:00 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 31) to 8:00 a.m. Sunday due to “limited physician availability.”
It comes following a closure from 10:00 a.m. Friday to 8:00 a.m. Sunday due to limited physician availability.
Residents in 100 Mile House and area who need life-threatening emergency care are asked to call 9-1-1 or visit Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake or Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops during the closure.
