Kamloops Food Bank temporarily closing midweek due to water shutoffs

UPDATE (Aug. 28): In an update to social media, the Kamloops Food Bank says the temporary closure will only take place on Thursday, Aug. 29.
EARLIER: KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Food Bank will be temporarily unavailable for two days this week.
In a post to social media, the food bank states its location at 171 Wilson St. on the North Shore will be closed for clients and volunteers on Wednesday (Aug. 28) and Thursday. It’s being credited to “last-minute water shut-offs from nearby construction.”
