Police solicit tips on 21-year-old hit-and-run that killed 100 Mile House woman
100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — B.C. Highway Patrol (BCHP) is appealing to the public for help solving a cold case hit-and-run that took the life of a South Cariboo resident.
The incident took place in the wee hours of Saturday, April 19, 2003 — the Saturday of Easter long weekend.
At about 3:42 a.m., a truck driver came across a woman’s body in the right-hand southbound lane of Highway 97, just south of Highway 24. The driver notified emergency authorities immediately, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was later identified as 37-year-old Susan Davidson of 100 Mile House.
