Boil water notice remains in place but Cedar Heights Water System users can resume regular usage

BLIND BAY, B.C. — Users of the Cedar Heights Water System in the Blind Bay area can resume regular water usage following an equipment malfunction earlier in the week.
In an update posted Wednesday (Aug. 21) morning, the Columbia Shuswap Regional District says dive crews and contractors worked late into the night to complete repairs and the system is now functioning properly.
Image credit: CSRDHowever, a boil water notice remains in effect until water tests can be done through Interior Health. The CSRD says it will notify residents when the boil advisory is removed.
