Katzberg talks newfound fame, Thor and marketing opportunities after winning Olympic gold

Ethan Katzberg of the Kamloops Track and Field Club won gold in men’s hammer throw earlier this month at the Olympic Summer Games in Paris.

The 6-foot-6 Nanaimo product was named one of Canada’s flag bearers for the closing ceremony and has been inundated with media requests since finishing atop the podium.

He spoke to CFJC Today on Wednesday from Slovakia, where he is preparing for the final two events of his season.
