Directed by Matt Johnson (BlackBerry), the film will delve into Bourdain’s rise from a New York chef to a global food and travel personality after his memoir, Kitchen Confidential, became a bestseller. He went on to host the popular food and travel shows No Reservations and Parts Unknown, which showcased global cuisine and cultural experiences. The shows ran for eight seasons on the Travel Channel and CNN, respectively, until Bourdain’s death in 2018.
