My Boy Prince installed as early 7-5 favourite for King’s Plate

TORONTO — My Boy Prince has been installed as the 7-5 early favourite for the $1-million King’s Plate.

The 2024 Plate Trial winner, trained by Mark Casse, will break from the No. 7 post in the 1 1/4-mile King’s Plate, which will be run Saturday at Woodbine Racetrack.

Casse also had the 2-1 second favourite in Essex Serpent, who drew the No. 3 post in Tuesday’s race draw at Woodbine.

Stronach Farms’ Rafaroo, the 8-1 third choice, drew the No. 2 post.

A total of 13 horses are scheduled to go postward for the opening leg of the OLG Canadian Triple Crown.
