VIDEO: Armstrong talks Katzberg Mania ahead of Olympics closing ceremony

Dylan Armstrong of the Kamloops Track and Field Club was reached in Slovakia on Sunday (Aug. 11), not long before his pupil, Ethan Katzberg, was scheduled to carry the Canadian flag, along with 17-year-old swimming phenom Summer McIntosh, at the 2024 Olympic Summer Games closing ceremony in Paris.

Armstrong recapped the Games experience and talked about what the gold medal in men’s hammer throw means for Katzberg and Kamloops.

CFJC Today was tracking Katzberg leading up to the Games and took note of his commanding victories, which proved similar to the one he scored earlier this month in Paris.
