KAMLOOPS — BrewLoops Rhythm and Brews will take place on Sept. 28 on the disc golf course on McArthur Island.

The event will transform Mac Isle into a vibrant forest fest featuring two stages, with one for DJs and one for live bands, according to an event media release.

The Zolas, The Boom Booms and Daysormay are among acts slated to perform.

More than 15 breweries and cideries are expected to offer refreshment, with multiple tap bars serving 26 B.C. beers.

The new Farmhouse Tent will showcase more than 30 rare and limited-release farmhouse, barrel-aged sour and wild-fermented beers and ciders.

Two cocktail bars will feature 15 B.C. artisanal gins and a range of unique cocktails and a selection of non-alcoholic options will be available.

“We’re incredibly excited to bring together the best of music and craft beer for the Kamloops community,” Mitch Forgie of BrewLoops said in the release. “With the backdrop of McArthur Island and a fantastic lineup of artists and brewers, Rhythm and Brews is set to be a highlight of the season. It’s also a unique opportunity for us to partner with an event that centers around raising awareness for first responders.”

Rhythm and Brews will run in conjunction with tTe Canadian and World FireFit Championships, which are slated to run from Sept. 25 to Sept. 29 on Mac Isle.

Early-bird tickets for Rythtm and Brews are $40 plus fees at tickets.kamloopslive.com until Sept. 1.
