Slower summer for Kamloops real estate market continues in July
KAMLOOPS — The Association of Interior Realtors (AIR) says sales activity in Kamloops and area continues to have a slower summer.
New numbers provided by the association show 212 residential units changed hands in the Kamloops and District region in July, down from 223 in June and down 13.8 per cent compared to the same month in 2023.
Active listings in the Kamloops real estate market marginally decreased from 1,441 to 1,423 in July, but it’s up 32.6 per cent compared to the same month in 2023.
The benchmark price for a single-family home in July sat at $658,400 – an increase of nearly $6,100 from June but a 1.9-per-cent decrease year-over-year.
