TNRD issues revised evacuation order due to Shetland Creek wildfire

A revised evacuation order has been issued by the Thompson-Nicola Regional District due to immediate danger to life safety caused by the Shetland Creek Wildfire, effective as of Sunday afternoon.

Approximately one addressed property and all properties outlined on the attached map have been newly placed on evacuation order.

The evacuation order is in effect for approximately 83 addressed properties in Electoral Area “I” (Blue Sky Country).

Approximately 15 addressed properties have been downgraded to Evacuation Alert.
