The video creator, a physician assistant in plastic surgery, had previously shared photos of Gomez and invited speculation about the possible work she’s had done. “Honestly I hate this,” Gomez wrote in the comments on Saturday. “I was on stripes because of flare up. I have Botox. That’s it. Leave me alone.” Many think “stripes” may have been typo, and Gomez meant to write “steroids,” which are often prescribed to treat lupus. The original video creator apologized for any offense, to which Gomez responded: “I love you. Not about you. I just get sad sometimes.”
