Cariboo Regional District lifts final evacuation alerts for properties near Moose Valley and Antler Creek wildfires

KAMLOOPS — The Cariboo Regional District lifted a pair of evacuation alerts Monday (July 29).

The remaining properties on evacuation alert due to the Moose Valley wildfire near 100 Mile House were given the all clear status at 4:00 p.m. Monday. It comes three days after an evacuation order was lifted in the area as well.

The BC Wildfire Service says the Moose Valley wildfire is being held at 290 hectares. It’s suspected to be caused by lightning.
