Sight and sounds: Kamloops Fire Rescue celebrates 140 years in community

KAMLOOPS– Kamloops Fire Rescue has kicked off its month-long birthday celebration, recognizing 140 years of service in the community.

Fire stations in Westsyde and Heffley Creek were first to heat up the grill and welcome the public this past weekend.

CFJC Today captured sights and sounds on Sunday in Westsyde and spoke to community members enjoying festivities.

The next celebration is slated for Aug. 10 in Valleyview.
