THE TATTLE OF HASTINGS: Day of the Long Blade

KAMLOOPS — Arvind Ramesh, a professional inline skater from India, came to Canada to study and learn how to skate on ice.

He found Thompson Rivers University and the Kamloops Long Blades.

Ramesh has been coaching inline skating, along with club member Leah Turner and Long Blades’ owner Sandi Vyse, and in return receiving lessons on the Olympic ice on Mac Isle.

The Long Blades offered 10 free spots in their inline program this year to folks who heard about the club through Kamloops Immigrant Services.

CFJC‘s Marty Hastings laced up his skates and joined the group in this latest instalment of the Tattle of Hastings.
