RCMP search for suspects who stole motorcycle, crashed it on Kamloops North Shore

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP would like your help solving the case of a stolen motorcycle that crashed on the North Shore Tuesday (July 23).

In a news release, spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says the crash took place at Fortune Drive and Eighth Street, at about 10:25 a.m. Tuesday.

After ditching the motorcycle, the male rider and a female passenger fled on foot.

Evelyn says the bike had been reported stolen overnight from a home in the 700-block of Stewart Avenue.

“To help further the investigation, we are asking residents in the area to please check their dash camera and security footage to see if anything was captured that may be related to the stolen motorcycle or its riders that could assist in identifying them as suspects,” said Evelyn.
