KAMLOOPS — Environment Canada has issued a smoky skies bulletin for the South Thompson region.
The forecasting agency says the South Thompson is one of four regions across the province expected to see decreased air quality over the next 24-to-48 hours due to wildfire smoke.
For the South Thompson, the smoke is emanating from the huge Shetland Creek wildfire north of Spences Bridge.
People with respiratory sensitivities are advised to reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors.
