Blazers’ Brunicke signs entry-level deal with Penguins

CALGARY — Just weeks after he was drafted into the National Hockey League, Kamloops Blazers defenceman Harrison Brunicke has signed his first professional contract.
Brunicke signed a three-year, entry-level deal with the Pittsburgh Penguins Thursday (July 18).
An 18-year-old from Johannesburg, South Africa by way of Calgary, Brunicke has 29 points in 110 career WHL games, all with the Blazers.
The Penguins selected Brunicke in the second round, 44th overall in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft
