Shannen Doherty joined ‘Charmed’ podcast, filed for divorce before death

Shannen Doherty officially filed for divorce from Kurt Iswarienko just a day before her death, with the July 12th paperwork noting that the split was proceeding uncontested. Both parties waived spousal support in the court documents. The divorce filing came after 11 years of marriage, with Doherty’s representative stating that the split was not something Doherty wanted but felt was her only option. The couple had separated in January 2023.

Doherty also spent her final week revisiting her time on Charmed, joining the relaunched House Of Halliwell podcast with former co-star Brian Krause. Yesterday, he emotionally introduced an episode in the wake of Doherty’s sudden passing at 53. Within the week leading up to her death, Doherty and Holly Marie Combs had recorded four podcast episodes, all of which they intend to release as planned.
