De Palma of Blazers earns more national team duty

Kamloops Blazers’ goaltending coach Dan De Palma will handle goaltending consultant duties for Canada at the Under-18 Hlinka Gretzky Cup next month in Edmonton.

De Palma was on the Team Canada coaching staff for the Under-18 World Hockey Championship this past spring in Finland.

Canada won gold.

De Palma has served as goaltending coach of the Blazers for the past 14 seasons.

Before joining the Blazers, he was goaltending coach for the Prince George Cougars for three season.
